Application fit

Which EC module fits your equipment?

The broader point-of-use UVC LED water purifier solutions page explains where terminal treatment is used. Our application team maps each EC module to the host product’s hydraulic, electrical and integration requirements.

01

RO and under-sink systems

Place the UVC LED module after suitable filtration and near the delivery point. Check peak dispense flow, tube size, residual pressure and available installation space.

02

Dispensers and faucets

For intermittent terminal flow, coordinate start threshold, voltage version, harness and thermal environment with the appliance controller and duty cycle.

03

Branded water appliances

For OEM or private-label programs, shortlist the hydraulic core first, then validate connector, labeling, packaging, compliance documents and production sample.

Engineering selection

How to choose an EC UVC LED module

Share these four application inputs and our team will match the EC model and configuration to the real host equipment.

1. Peak flow and UVT

Use actual peak dispense flow—not only daily volume. Low UV transmittance, turbidity or fouling can reduce the optical margin available in the chamber. Learn how to size by flow rate and UVT.

2. Connection and envelope

Our team aligns tube outside diameter, inlet and outlet orientation, bend radius, service access and the available appliance space.

3. Voltage and control

Separate 12 V and 24 V versions are available across the EC range. We align flow activation, connector, wiring and the host controller’s power budget.

4. Pretreatment and duty cycle

UVC works with upstream filtration or conditioning as part of the complete water-treatment path. We review on/off frequency and the enclosure’s thermal environment.

Selection questions

EC Series FAQ

How does an EC module fit into a complete water purifier?

EC products integrate into a host appliance or water-treatment system and work with its filtration, enclosure, power control and plumbing. Agua Topone supports model selection and integration review for the complete product design.

How do EC-10 and EC-12 differ?

Both serve applications up to 4 L/min. EC-12 adds an integrated flow switch and offers 1/4″ or 3/8″ quick-connect options, while EC-10 is a standard compact platform with 1/4″ tubing. Our team matches the voltage and configuration to the appliance.

How are SGS results presented for EC models?

Each SGS microbiological result is linked to the named model, test organism, flow and stated conditions, with the applicable report available for review.

What should I send for an OEM quotation?

Send peak flow, water-quality data or UVT, tube size, pressure, installation envelope, voltage, control method, target market, expected volume and required documents. Photos or a layout drawing help the engineering review.

Can connection, cable or branding be customized?

Selected mechanical, electrical, labeling and packaging items may be discussed by project and volume. Any change that can affect performance requires engineering review and sample validation before production.
