Point-of-Use (POU) UVC LED Water Disinfection Solutions

Compare compact modules for dispensers, RO systems and OEM integration.

POU APPLICATION CONTEXT

Where compact POU modules fit in the water path

A point-of-use module is installed at or near the final outlet inside a host appliance or drinking-water line, working alongside the project’s filtration and plumbing.

Share the appliance and water-path requirements, and our application team will match the standard model or integration configuration to the duty cycle, UVT, fittings, control logic and installation space.

  1. 01

    Define the final-water line

Map the RO membrane, storage tank or tankless path, post-filter, faucet and sampling point so the treated outlet is unambiguous.

  2. 02

    Match the real dispense duty

Use simultaneous peak flow, operating pattern, water quality and UVT—not average consumption or a nominal appliance rating alone.

  3. 03

    Review integration and service

Our team aligns fittings, orientation, voltage, start-stop signal, leak protection, heat management and service access with the host-appliance layout.

APPLICATION FAQ

Point-of-Use UVC LED Questions

Selection, validation and integration answers for compact POU modules.

How does a POU UVC LED module fit into a complete water purifier?

A point-of-use UVC LED module treats water at or near the dispensing point inside a host appliance such as an RO system, dispenser or drinking-water unit. It works with the appliance’s filtration, plumbing and electrical controls, while Agua Topone supports model selection and integration review.

Our application team compares simultaneous peak flow and duty cycle, UVT and water quality, fitting size, installation envelope, power and control interface, and required market documents to recommend the suitable model.

Performance depends on delivered dose, the target organism, peak flow, UV transmittance and reactor configuration. Each published result is linked to the exact model and stated test conditions. See Testing & Validation for the evidence framework.

Our team reviews UVT, turbidity, suspended solids, hardness and scale risk, iron, manganese and other water conditions to match filtration or conditioning to the host-system requirements.

L70 is the model-specific light-output reference used for service planning. Our team combines it with duty cycle, water and thermal conditions, controls and the finished-appliance design to prepare the maintenance plan.

Our integration review covers UVC light containment, electrical protection, leak control, flow or interlock logic where applicable, service access and target-market requirements at complete-system level.

Standard modules and selected ODM adaptations are available. Send peak flow and duty cycle, a water report or UVT data, connection size, available space, power and control requirements, target market and required documents; our team will review form factor, fittings, interfaces and validation needs.
